Good morning, everyone.  Welcome to the week of Feb. 21-24, 2017 at CHHS, where we are Trojans committed to success.


There will be a parent meeting for all archery students who made the state tournament team on Tuesday, February 21 at the TES cafeteria at 6:00 p.m.


School will be dismissed on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd, at 2:30pm.


The CHHS Lady Trojan Basketball Team will face Eufaula on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd, at 4:00pm at the Dothan Civic Center in the Regional Finals.  Admission is $8.00.


Anyone interested in trying out for JV cheerleader, varsity cheerleader, or mascot, please sign up with Mrs. Armstrong.  Deadline to sign up is March 10th.  All tryouts will be Wednesday, March 22nd.


Seniors, Mrs. Wright has a scholarship application form for the Troy Pilot Club which is for students with a major in service-related field, a "C" average, middle-income family and attending Troy Main Campus.  The deadline is May 10.


Students interested in promoting CHHS and joining the Trojan Pride Team, please see Mrs. Rice in 202.

College Greenlight.com is having a "marathon"  on Saturday, February 25th. 

Seniors have a chance to win $100 every hour and qualify for a $1,000 scholarship just by doing this.  Students must submit the following info to collegegreenlight.com  by Friday Feb.23

1)  Open a CollegeGreenlight.com account (free) & almost exactly like Achieve Alabama.

2)  Submit selfies of a college campus visit

3)  Submit snapshots of applications (for colleges & scholarships)

4)  Submit screenshot of their college list from CollegeGreenlight.com


Prom is March 24th. Tickets will go on sale February 1st and include the price of your t-shirt. Tickets are 30.00 per person.  The price will jump to 40.00 per person starting March 1st. To purchase a ticket, see Ms. Huggins or Mrs. Phillips.


Culinary Arts will be selling cotton candy ($1.00 per bag) and cookies (2 for $1.00) after school each afternoon.


Those students who only paid part of their chromebook fee for the year should see Mrs. Rhodes or Mrs. Melton to pay the remainder.
